This addon is primarily a chat filter with the purpose of getting rid of spam and some of the other things that make your WoW life less enjoyable.
Use: /DM or left-click the mini-map button for options.
* Features *
See "DawnMod.txt" (in the zip file) for the full list.
- Removes; guild spam, gold spam, link spam (thunderfury, hand of rag, etc), mod spam, and annoying spam.
- Fixes (some) bad spelling, bad capitalization, PEOPLE WHO TYPE IN ALL CAPS, and swearing.
- Blocks recount/skada output (cause you need to know who did the most dps on the trash pack in a level 20 dungeon!)
- Blocks /1 (general chat) when you're in a party or raid.
- Blocks ASCII "art", foreign languages (high bit UTF-8 characters), and multi-line macros.
- Strips raid marks ({star} etc.) and URLs from global chat channels.
- Traps whispers while you're in combat so you don't get distracted mid-fight.
- Has a NPC filter (if you dont care that the zeppelin just arrived) and system message filter (because you don't care that dpser#6452 just got tipsy).
- Tracks 'karma'. Acceptable messages give karma. Unacceptable messages remove it. If someone has a low enough karma, you won't be subjected to their messages anymore.
