Super Duper Macro (2.4.2)

$

0
Change Log:
--------------------
2.4.2 (11/30/11)
Fixed a minor error that occurs when running SDM for the first time
When attempting to pick up a macro during combat, you will get an error message created by SDM instead of Blizzard's "Interface action failed due to an addon".

2.4.1 (11/30/11)
Updated for version 4.0 - you will lose any custom icons for your macros. Sorry!

2.4 (11/20/11)
Fixed the Send/Receive feature; now you can share macros with your friends again, as long as you are both using the latest version.
Fixed a bug where buttons on the SDM frame would sometimes stretch away
Many UI Improvements

2.3 (11/16/11)
The SDM frame now hides when you press escape!
Added more tooltips; still more to come

2.2.1 (11/15/11)
Fixed a bug where the macro list sometimes became unclickable

2.2 (11/4/11)
Upgraded macros will now appropriately change their icons based on the macro code (unless an icon other than the Question Mark icon was selected). If you upgraded a macro with version 2.1, you will need to manually change the icon to the Question Mark icon.
Added a "Downgrade" button that converts a Super Duper macro into a standard macro
Added a "Claim"/"Disown" button that allows you to have a single character-specific macro or script that applies to multiple characters
Added a "Save As..." button that allows you to save an existing macro as a different type or character. For example, you can save a button macro as a floating macro if you want to free up a macro slot.
Several UI improvements; more to come!

2.1 (10/19/11)
Added an "Upgrade" button to the standard macro frame, allowing you to convert a standard macro into a Super Duper macro
Removed an overbearing version-checking system

2.0 (10/16/11)
Incorporated compatibility updates by survivorx and ambro

1.8.3 (2/26/09)
Changing the name of a macro will now properly update the title text above the edit box.
Improved the "/sdm test" function. Please re-test it and s...

Description:
--------------------

To view recent changes, click the "Change Log" tab at the top of this page.

Open the in-game interface by typing /sdm

This addon allows you to create macros beyond the 255-character limit, and even beyond the 1023-character macrotext limit. However, no individual line in a macro may be more than 1023 characters long (you will get a warning). The number of lines is unlimited. Super Duper Macro also allows you to share macros with your friends in-game.

This mod allows you to make two types of macros:

Button macros are just like regular macros, but they can be as long as you want. You cannot make an unlimited number of them; they share a limit with your regular macros (36 global and 18 character-specific for each character).
Floating macros do not have buttons, and are accessed by /click. You can make as many of these as you want.
You can also make lua scripts of unlimited length that you can call using "/sdm run " or via sdm_RunScript("name")

If you find this addon useful, I encourage you to consider contributing to its development via PayPal by clicking this link. You will be showing your appreciation for the time I've spent getting this addon to the point it's at now, and you will also make it possible for me to continue to set aside time to make it even better.

Suggestions and bug reports are always welcome. You can post comments on the wowinterface.com page for this addon, or if you want to add something yourself, you can upload it in the "Optional Files" tab.

Command (v1.1.2)

Change Log:
--------------------
FIXED: TOC interface updated to 40300.

Description:
--------------------
Command

This addon will provide players with the ability to whisper special commands to you (or send them via guild/raid/party chat).

The style of the commands is much like the one used for IRC bots, ! . The ability to control the command prefix (in the previous example: "!") is available, so you could actually choose any character (or string of characters) as a prefix, e.g.:
.
prefix

Etc, etc. The main aim of this addon is to enable your group to function while you (the group leader) is AFK or simply not paying attention. Or maybe you want to give some control to the players, but not as much as the raid assistant rank would give them.

The Command AddOn will have a permission system (currently rather primitive), where you can give players different access levels and control what commands are available on a per-group and per-user system. Blacklisting or whitelisting of commands is also available (blacklisting and whitelisting of players is not yet implemented, but banning players is possible).

Permission System

More information here when permission system is finished...

Command List

Command list is available on the wiki.

Limitations

Due to the limitations in the WoW API, there are certain things this AddOn can't do, or things that are more complicated to do.

As an example we can look at the !kick command, Blizzard does not allow an AddOn to kick players without that action being in response to a hardware event (such as clicking a button). Due to this, when a player issues the !kick command, a confirmation window will pop up asking you to confirm the kick.

KillTrack (v1.0.4)

$
0
0
Change Log:
--------------------
FIXED: TOC interface updated to 40300.

Description:
--------------------
KillTrack will keep track of how many times you've killed various mobs.

The main way to see this info is on tooltips. As you hover over any killable mob, the kill count will be displayed on the bottom of the tooltip.

There is also a friendly list that you can bring up to display all mobs with their NPC id, global kill count and kills on the current character.
Note that the list will only load 100 entries at a time due to lag issues.
Loading more than 200 entries will most certainly cause severe lag.

Kill Timer

Ever wanted to track how many kills you accumulate within a certain time? You can do so with KillTrack.

You simply tell it how long to track, and a window will pop up listing number of kills, time left, kills per minute and kills per second.

Feedback

If you have any suggestions, bug reports, complains et.c, please make a new ticket.
I would prefer if you use the Issues page on GitHub instead of the ones on Curse/WoWInterface.

This addon allows you to create macros beyond the 255-character limit, and even beyond the 1023-character macrotext limit. However, no individual line in a macro may be more than 1023 characters long (you will get a warning). The number of lines is unlimited.

Description:
--------------------
Aurora is an addon which reskins the default Blizzard interface elements to a smooth, minimalistic theme which is consistent across the entire UI.

I got the idea to do this when Tukui included some code to reskin option frames and buttons. Starting with that code I went to reskin almost all of the default Blizzard frames to my own preferred theme. It was originally meant for my UI, FreeUI, but due to popular demand I decided to upload a standalone version as well, and over time it continued to become more advanced than what it originally used to be.

To set the opacity of frames:

Change 'alpha' at the top of aurora.lua to a value between 0 (invisible) and 1 (solid).

Plugins:

AdvancedTradeSkillWindow
MyRolePlay

Developer:

Anyone is welcome to make plugins for Aurora. All functions and media paths are part of tables stored within a single global, to avoid pollution. Your addon can access Aurora's API if you add this line at the top (make sure that Aurora is loaded before your addon):

local F, C = unpack(Aurora)

BigWigs Bossmods (r8781)

Big Wigs is a boss encounter add-on. It consists of many individual encounter scripts, or boss modules; mini add-ons that are designed to trigger alert messages, timer bars, sounds, and so forth, for one specific raid encounter. These encounter scripts are activated when you target or mouse over a raid boss, or if any other Big Wigs user in your raid does. In most cases only one module will be running at any given time.

If you're looking for boss encounter scripts for 5-man dungeons, these are not in Big Wigs, but live in their own add-on; Little Wigs.

Description:
--------------------
draeRaidFrames is a party/raid frame layout using the oUF framework.

I wrote this a long time ago now, updating it over time. I wanted something which looked like Grid, behaved like Grid but without the fairly substantial Ace library requirements and overhead. I also wanted something that looked a little more "WoW"-like in appearance.

It displays various indicators around the grid interior. Some of these are fixed (set specifically in core.lua) such as aggro indication, incoming heals, raid marker, important debuffs, etc. while the rest change depending on the class being played. The later can be found in config_indicators.lua where auras are defined per class. By default each indicator (where relevant) has a cooldown spinner overlaid so you can get an indication of how long that particular aura has to run (without lots of messy numbers).

General configuration can be found in config.lua such as sizing, textures, fonts, etc. Important debuffs are defined in config_debuffs.lua.

There are a couple of additional capabilities added again for my own benefit. At Sinestra a wrack timer function will appear displaying the length of time Wrack has been running on each member (essential for dispelling ... !). And in preparation for 4.3 a small indicator (below the incoming heal indicator - top right) shows which people (6 by default) are in-range of each other. It also displays the person calculated to best place the radiance on through a sequence of fading green to red colours.

The frames can be locked, unlocked and moved in-game through the /drf slash command.

Keep in mind I wrote this for myself and a few guild mates so it may not be the friendliest mod you've ever encountered. I'm putting it here because other peeps suggested I should.

This mod draws heavily on a number of other raid type frames either for inspiration or code. These include but are not limited to; Grid, Grid2, Vuhdo,...

There is NO GUI configuration as GUIs use excess memory. There is some LUA commenting now to help users out who are generally unfamiliar with LUA.

Description: So I used to be a big ClearFont2 user and decided that I wanted an updated way to configure my fonts. Basically it is a VERY stripped down version of ClearFont2 with added in features from tekticles and aZoneText with all the GUIs and in-game configs completely removed. I know there are lots of similar addons but I kinda just decided to release it because there is no other addon that does EXACTLY what this does for as small a memory footprint.

Description shortened. It's just a self-contained LUA based font changer, nothing more, nothing less.

Future Updates:
For 99% of usable purposes this addon has no problems and works as it should. I have been using it for months now. That said I really don't see a whole lot of need to ever update it unless there is a SEVERE error that occurs (which I really don't forsee). It works and is simple and I see no reason to clutter up the code.

Known Issues:
The one error about the territory text showing up as not the zone text style, but using the font specified as "standard" I am aware of. It just simply requires alot of code to fix one minor problem that only occasionally even occurs. For the time being I have no plans to write in code to fix this for every PVP territory in the game. This would just increase the size and memory consumption of the addon and I find that this code is ultimately counter-productive.

4.1.3
In 4.2 all autorefreshing spells (SWP-MF, Corruption-Haunt, Renew-Chakra, etc) stopped generating SPELL_AURA_REFRESH event for combat log.
Workaround for this problem works only on target and player, so everything should be fine unless you're immediately switching target after cast is finished or before and aura is still not updated on target unit.
I hope Blizzard will fix this in 4.3, so I'm not making any more serious changes for now.
