Change Log:
--------------------
r2:
* Stopped from requesting info for players not on your server. Would give "No player named 'xxxxx' is currently playing." message.
-------------------------------------------
r1:
* Code was reviewed/cleaned up.
Description:
--------------------
*experimental/work in progress!* :)
MooseLockouts displays Cataclysm raid lockouts on player's tooltips. It was created to aid leaders form raids (mostly useful for those weekly Baradin Hold groups :D!) by telling who is locked and to what instance.
The obvious downside - Both parties need the addon installed for this method to work. There's no other way for an addon to overcome this, unfortunately!
How it works:
- Player A mouses-over Player B. An addonmessage is sent to Player B requesting his or her Raid lockout info.
- Player B's addon sends a message back with the appropriate info.
- Player A receives Player B's info and can now see Player B's raid lockouts when mousing-over his tooltip.
>If Player B is saved to any Cataclysm Raid, it will show which one(s), and when available, how many bosses he or she is saved to.
>If a player has this addon and is not saved to any raid instances, it will explicitly say "No Active Lockouts"!
